Student Orientation FEBRUARY 2 - 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - McLean Middle School For those entering 7th grade in the fall of 2012, student orientation will be held for students and parents at McLean 7/8. Course selection for the 2012-2013 school year will occur, and information will be given on school activities and electives Parents: You should have received an email with your user name and password for the Parent Portal. If you have not received an email, please contact McLean. Take the opportunity now to review your student's classes. For Parent Portal instructions, click on the Parent Portal Tab on the left side of the website. Parents: The FWISD has updated the background check form for this year. If you previously filled out a background check form that was not two pages, you will need to resubmit your information using the forms below. All parents that volunteer at McLean 6th Grade Center must fill out a Volunteer Background Check as required by the FWISD. Please click here to print out a copy of the forms (TWO pages) and bring them to the school office. Please note, these forms are shown at the bottom of the "Get Involved" webpage. Parent Portal McLean 6 will be piloting the Parent Portal for Connects this year. Parent Portal is the FWISD website where parents can log on to view grades for each class that their student is enrolled in, as well as attendance records. Parents will be able to set alerts to receive automatic e-mails if a student's grades or attendance fall below the criteria the parents set themselves.
